Marisa Campos – Teacher

Marisa holds a Bachelor degree in Language Sciences, from the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, and an MA in Linguistic Revision and Consultancy, from FCSH, Nova University of Lisbon. She ‍‍‍has experience of teaching Portuguese abroad and enjoys explaining grammatical issues providing a comfortable atmosphere for conversational practice.

Marisa is a research assistant in the Center of Linguistics of the University of Lisbon and she is collaborating in a study related to the African varieties of Portuguese.

Romeu Ornelas - Teacher

Romeu studied Literature and Languages as well as Music. He recently completed a Masters in Teaching Portuguese as a Second Language in Nova University.

He has a calm approach that makes students feel confident and be able to understand the subtleties of the Portuguese Language.

Raquel Fernandes - School Director and Teacher

Falamos Português' was founded by Raquel Fernandes. Her interest in teaching Portuguese became apparent while at university in Lisbon, helping students from other countries with the language. 
Raquel loved the richness of the interaction with students from such diverse backgrounds. On completing the degree in Language and Literature she specialized in teaching Portuguese as a second language. In the years since she has taught people from various countries feeding their curiosity and inspiring them to discover and understand more of the Portuguese way of life.

João Rocha  – Teacher

João Rocha has a degree in Portuguese Studies and a post-graduation in Communication and Culture from Faculdade de Letras of the University of Lisbon.

‍‍‍He loves talking and turns the lessons into an opportunity to share experiences using the Portuguese language, creating a frien‍‍‍dly atmosphere.
